Magic workshops

Ready Steady Magic Magic Workshops are a fun after school activity with an inbuilt sense of achievement for those involved. Great for schools, youth groups, scouting associations or for birthday parties.

As children develop, they start to search for an identity that they feel fits them best. Arty, sporty and musical are a few very popular self ‘labels’ but not all children fit the mould. That’s why we think it’s such a great idea to provide young people with a wide range of activities for them to explore.

As a secretive art, magic is an exciting and fun activity to try. Not only that but as children’s hand-eye coordination increases and their reading ability improves, they are able to progress rapidly, leading to a growth in confidence and an achievement to be proud of.

Based off my successful Make & Do Online Workshop, I’ve developed a series of magic workshops designed to introduce young people to the fascinating world of magic. As a one off, it’s perfect for family fun days, festivals or even as a birthday treat for those too older for a ‘babyish’ children’s entertainer. As a series it’s the perfect after-school activity, where we progress each week, building up to a final showcase for family and friends.

⭐️ Explore a new, exciting hobby!
⭐️ Grow confidence with a final magic showcase!
⭐️ Achievements to be proud of!
⭐️ Combine with a live magic show.
⭐️ All props included.

A huge thank you for delivering such fantastic workshops for us over the course of this half term. The children were enthused and delighted by your performances.
I was so glad that you clearly have a natural gift for entertaining that age group!
The primary staff were very complimentary about the content!
We will no doubt be in touch again next year!

My magic workshops and classes have been developed over several years in conjunction with my Make & Do Online Class.
It’s perfect for as one off workshop for a birthday party, as along running class for a school or youth group, or as mini workshops throughout the day at a festival or fun day.
I’m based in the Midlands, but I can proving entertainment at larger events across the whole UK.

Hello! I’m Ed, and I specialise in presenting magic for young people. That could mean live shows, for schools, youth groups, family events, or individual celebrations. It might mean magic workshops and lessons, where I inspire young people to achieve great things. Or it could mean using my magical skills to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice. As with other art forms, magic can be used to communicate a message, and for me, that message is about growing in confidence! That’s why I love to combine my magic with stories that encourage creative thinking! Find out more about me here.
