As I mentioned, I’ve performed at all sorts of children’s parties and family events in the Tamworth area. Here are just some of the events that stand out to me.
Tamworth Restaurant Magic
Sometimes I get asked to provide close up magic for children, and that's exactly what happened at this party for a 9 year old. Instead of a magic 'show' I was asked to provide magic table to table as the young people enjoyed a meal at a restaurant. This is the sort of thing I also do for adults, so it was really easy for me to adapt it to the young people, and of course, it made them feel really grown up. It's worth noting though, that my magic show for older children is really respectful of their intelligence too. It's a more chatty stand up comedy for kids vibe, rather than a brightly coloured babyish magic show! Rethink your what you think a kids magic show is.
Tamworth School Show
This was a fun show 3 days after I got married, and a few days before going on my honeymoon. With my new wife's blessing, I managed to squeeze in at this show at Woodlands School in Tamworth. This was a really event to be a part of. I provided my magic show as part of a creative writing topic which a few of the classes were doing. Afterwards, I heard some of the children's stories and spoke to them about all things magic and magical. My favourite question of the day? "Do you have a pet dragon‽" Magic is a great addition to schools, either as a reward assembly or as part of PTFA fundraising. Tamworth Party Magic
This was a really fun birthday party at a house. A lot of people ask me if I only perform at village halls and community centres, or if I will do a house show too. I'm always a bit unsure why that question is asked, because I've never met a party entertainer that doesn't do house shows, but maybe they are out there. Me, I can stretch out my show to the size of a theatre, or shrink it down to a house. In fact, I've even performed on a canal boat! Anyway, this show was loads of fun, with lots of jaw dropping magic, and laugh out loud comedy. After the show, I got this awesome review from the mum.

Magic Show at Drayton Bassett Village Club
I really loved this Christmas party show for the local community, and it was a surprise to me, because the venue was really well laid out. They had a small corner stage that really bought the show to life, and with a mix of ages it was really fun to be able to make sure everyone got to see some magic that was suitable for them, and also I included some routines for everyone too.
