Magic works brilliantly for youth groups because it’s fun, inclusive and gets everyone involved. I tailor my performances to suit the age, energy and setting of groups like Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, football and rugby clubs (and other sports teams too!). Whether you want a short reward session, a fundraising highlight or a team building workshop that builds confidence there's sure to be some magic for you!

WORKSHOPS AND SKILL SESSIONS
That right there is the entertainer's badge (The Scouts version. Cubs version is also available)! Did you know that one way to achieve it is to, "Help plan and perform a series of magic tricks."
Well, that's where I come in. Hands‑on magic workshops are ideal for youth groups, as they develop confidence, communication and collaboration.
My sessions are usually combined with an incredible magic show (to show young people what can be achieved), and can be used as a one off or a short series of sessions.
Kids leave with tricks they can practise and show off, and a great sense of accomplishment. Imagine how proud they will be going home to show their family.
Ed kept our group of Scouts enthralled for the whole session with a perfectly pitched magic show, and a workshop that was exactly what we wanted. Ed is a great a magician, and I would recommend him to other groups.

END OF SEASON CELEBRATIONS
Whether it's an end of season awards presentation or just a get together to celebrate the end of a year, why not add magic in to the mix. There are a few options:
Close up 'mix and mingle' magic is perfect alongside a disco, and allows me to tailor the magic to the group I'm performing for.
Stage magic gets everyone involved together (kids and adults), and with magic on a larger scale, brings a real WOW factor to your event.
FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS
Fundraising is a necessary part of running a club, supporting valuable resources, and trips and extra-curricular activities.
Whether on the clubhouse lawn or in a marquee, short family shows or walkaround magic are an appealing draw at community events. It draws a crowd, keeps families on site longer and gives you an entertaining headline act that helps raise money. I can perform a stand alone show, multiple short shows during the day or even mix and mingle magic weaving throughout the crowds.
